That's exactly what happened with Karthika when she started her journey into cinema. This girl is the daughter of the yesteryears ravishing beauty Radha.

Though she had few hiccups at the start, Karthika began to find her feet in Kollywood after the super success of 'Rangam'. She also garnered some acclaim in Mollywood through her film 'Makaramanju' wherein she paired up with Santosh Sivan. Now, she is all set to make her presence felt once again in Tollywood.

This is happening through the film 'Dammu' wherein she is pairing up with Junior NTR. While eyebrows are still rising as to how Karthika managed to bag this project, the cine folks say she has good confidence before the camera and a decent body language with glamour quotient.
