Venkatesh avoids Clash with Pawan Kalyan

Venkatesh upcoming film Bodyguard joined the Pongal race and the producer Bellamkonda Suresh confirmed the same. This movie was expected to release in November or December, but it was now pushed to Pongal as the producer doesn't want it to clash with Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa.

Panjaa is slated for release on December 9 and it is one of the most awaited films of the season. There is so much hype surrounding it and Bellamkonda Suresh plays it safe by postponing Bodyguard for Pongal. Even though there are many films lined up for Pongal release, Suresh hopes that his film would do well as it matches up to the festive spirit.

Panjaa is a mass action thriller which would be a serious threat to other films if it clicks well. Bellamkonda also tasted a bitter result with Nagavalli which was released in December. Hence, he felt that Pongal should be the safe bet for Bodyguard.
