Story:

A sensitive tale, the story begins with the lives of Chandu (Siddharth) and Siri (Shruti Hassan) who grow up together since childhood and are the best of friends. Nothing is hidden from them and they go out of their way to help each other. Chandu comes across Ritu (Hansika) one day and it is love at first sight. From then on, he tries his best to get close to her and finally succeeds. Meanwhile, Siri convinces her parents and gets engaged to her boyfriend Uday (Navadeep). Life goes smooth until the time the four of them meet. The public display of affection between Chandu and Siri tends to rub Uday and Ritu on the wrong side. Things get twisted due to few incidents and Chandu-Siri face a situation where they are advised to get married. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Artist performances:

Siddarth has come up with an apt performance and he is energetic and lively. Shruti Haasan got a character with depth and she has used the opportunity well. Hansika had a laid back performance but more than that, she needs to work on her body urgently. Navadeep was effective. Ali's comedy was okay. Tanikella Bharani was valuable. Sana was alright. The others did their bit as required and added value.

Plus points:

Songs and music
Technical values
Sensitive handling of the script
Performances from the lead cast

Minus points:

Poor comedy
Weak commercial elements
Emotional dose is strong

Analysis:

This is one of those feel good films which can be watched with an open mind and laid back approach. As such, the dose of sensitivity and the matured handling of a sensitive subject works but at one point, it is all about figuring out the line between friendship and love than anything else. The focus is more on the central line and other parts were not developed. But still, with rich technical values, sound performances and excellent songs, the film has enough material to grip the hearts of the youth audience. At the box office, the film has it all to score a hit.

Verdict: Heart rendering...
