It is often said that there tend to be certain discussions that keep happening between heroes and usually it is about other films, cars etc. However, it is heard that a different discussion is happening between two big heroes. They are Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu.

The subject of their topic is 'Fitness'. Apparently, both Nag and Mahesh are currently filled with choc-o-bloc schedules of films and their diaries are full for the next two years or so. This would mean they require a lot of energy and stamina to be on their toes working back to back on projects.

Friends of both actors reveal that they have been in talks with each other trying to share few tips on how to handle the stress and keep the energy levels up to ensure their projects are done within time and that too with fresh looks. This is an interesting discussion.

Why did Allu Arjun call Pawan as 'Babai'?

The other day, Stylish Star Allu Arjun gave a detailed explanation on why all the Mega Heroes were not able to grace the audio launch of Pawan Kalyan's 'Panjaa'.  And what surprised everyone was, Bunny addressed Pawan Kalyan as 'Babai' instead of 'Mavayya'.

"Just because we didn't attend the audio launch doesn't mean that there is a split between us. We don't mind if media criticizes our films, but scrutinizing family relations is not fair. I'm hurt by the reports in media. We are all united and will be," said Allu Arjun.

"I wish Kalyan 'Babai' all the best. I hope Panjaa will be great film. Our fans are waiting to see Kalyan 'Babai' in another Blockbuster," he added.

According to the sources, the reason for Bunny calling Pawan as Babai is a result of strong bonding between the family members of Chiranjeevi.

"Since their childhood both Bunny and Sirish has a habit of calling Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan as Babai along with Ram Charan. All the kids in the family grow up together, so we often see some resemblance between them," said a source close to the family.

Mani Ratnam's classic film to be remade

The last few months has seen a crazy flow of south Indian movies being sent to Bollywood, getting remade and scoring hits. Most of them are from Telugu and they have been hits in the recent past. But now, one film is gearing up to be remade in Hindi and this happens to 20 years old.

The other fact is, it is made by Mani Ratnam. Yes, news is that the maverick movie maker's classic film 'Dalapathi' is all set to be remade in Hindi. The original had Mammootty and Rajinikanth which had a slight inspiration from Mahabharata. Now, it is heard that this will be remade into Hindi.

The man to make this happen is producer Bharat Shah who bought the remake rights and it is heard that Puja Jatinder, a lady who worked as assistant for many films would be directing the remake. Sources say changes will be made in the script to bring some contemporary look but the screenplay would be intact. This should be interesting.

I like Mahesh Babu and Prabhas: Young Hero

Young hero Nara Rohit is very excited about his second film 'Solo' which is gearing up for release on Nov 25th. The film is touted to be a complete family entertainer with perfect blend of love, comedy, action and sentiment. Speaking about 'Solo', Nara Rohit said heart touching content and director Parasuram's one liners are the USP of the film.

The young actor is not apprehensive is announcing the names of heroes whom he admire and most importantly they were not from his family. "I like Mahesh Babu for his diction and Prabhas for action," he said.

The hero characterization in this film is similar to that we see in Puri Jagannath's film. Parasuram who is a protege of Puri has requested him to give voice-over for Solo and the star director obliged. So now, Solo will have a voice-over given by Puri.

Nara Rohit already has a couple of projects lined up. An action thriller with Srinivar Raga ('Katha' fame) and another film for Solo producer. Great going Rohit!!!

Rajamouli's Graphical Extravaganza release

One of the most talked about movies in the Tollywood circuit is 'Eega' and the reason for that is, it has the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli helming the project and it is slated to be a graphical extravaganza with an experimental genre. The big question was, when the film releasing and what is the update.

Well, the man himself spoke about it. Rajamouli has reportedly revealed that 'Eega' would be releasing in the last week of March. It will have a simultaneous release in Tamil as well with the title 'Naan Ee'. The audio release is scheduled to take place in February end and this will come along with trailer.

Currently, the shooting of climax is on and it is heard that the technical team is slogging it out to integrate the humans with the housefly onscreen. Story:

A mass masala tale, the story is set on the backdrop of Tirupathi and here lives Kathi Seenu (Nikhil) who is a happy go lucky guy. But his doings tend to trouble the neighbourhood. Due to one such incident, Seenu takes an oath that he will search a girl for himself, fall in love with her. This happens with the arrival of Meghana (Pooja). However, Meghana is repulsive to love and Seenu's efforts don't work. The story takes a turn when Meghana is kidnapped by the goons of Liquor Shankar (Sayaji). Why does he do that? Who is Meghana? All this forms the rest of the story.

Artist Performances:

Nikhil has given a sincere performance and he has shouldered his role and the film well by contributing in all departments. Pooja looks seductive and sensuous with an innocent appeal. Even her performance was neat. Sayaji Shinde was regular, Ali was average, M S Narayana was the best among the lot, Brahmi was boring, Venu Madhav was okay, Suman was brief, Krishna Bhagawan brought few smiles, Raghu Babu was funny, the others didn't have much to offer.

Analysis:

The film starts on a promising note and it goes with good pace creating a balance between comedy and romance. However, the graph begins to fall once the second half begins. The anti-climax gets boring due to dragged scenes and amateur comedy. There is a good budget allocated for the film and a high quality cast with the director but he failed to get the best out of them. At the box office, this might go with those who look for mindless comedy and timepass but success is very doubtful.

Mahesh Babu gets shock from Big Hero

No one can dare say no to someone like Mahesh Babu and no one can go against him if he says no to something. That's why there is no exaggeration that he is called the prince of Tollywood. However, it appears that all this royalty is limited only till Tollywood and nothing works in Bollywood.

The reason we say this is after hearing an update from Mumbai. It is heard that the stage was set for Mahesh's 'Dookudu' to be remade in Hindi and this was to have Salman Khan in the lead. However, sources reveal that after going through all the necessary formalities, discussions etc, Salman has dumped the project.

Buzz is that Salman who has done nearly five to six films as a cop didn't want to repeat the same act. Moreover, he is also arriving with another cop flick in the form of 'Dabangg 2'. So, he has taken this decision, as per sources. However, buzz is that Salman's decision has come as a shock not just to Mahesh but also to the 'Dookudu' team.

Directors running away from Venkatesh

Veteran actor Venkatesh seems like he is caught in a dilemma of what to do and what not to, due to his age factor. Venkatesh was never in so much confusion in the past. He used to be crystal clear about his decision making and he is one of the few big stars who used to do films at a good rate.

In the recent times, he has been facing problems with decision making as his films are getting canceled at the last hour. He was supposed to do Savithri movie under Teja direction and that film was formally launched even. It was called off without any official note and Venky moved on to do Bodyguard remake.

Trivikram spent few months on Venkatesh's film script and finally came out to do Allu Arjun's movie. Dasarath too walked out and has committed to do a film with Nagarjuna in the lead. There are reports that Venkatesh has turned nonjudgmental and is confusing the directors without letting them know what he actually wants!

Big Hero wants to end war with rival

Star wars are quite common in the cine circuit but most of the time it is done in a hushed manner. However, one war took a messy turn sometime back and this was between the top two reigning stars. All this happened in Bollywood and the duo we are talking about is Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Lookslike, the search for the actress to reprise the role of Mahesh Babu's sister-in-law in the multi-starrer film 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' has come to an end. Although Dil Raju has approched a lot of heroines for this role before, all of them turn down the offer citing various reasons. Finally, one actress has come to the rescue of this star producer.

According to the sources, Anushka has agreed to play the female lead opposite Venkatesh in the film. Reportedly, Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu are playing brothers in the film. This is not the first time Anushka has teamed up with both these stars. Earlier, Venky and Anushka have done a couple of films together namely 'Chitankayala Ravi' and 'Nagavalli'. Anushka has played the love interest of Mahesh Babu in 'Khaleja'.

Usually, a film which has Mahesh Babu in the lead will have all the actresses doing their best to get a chance to rub shoulders with him onscreen. Grapevine is making rounds in filmnagar that the producers are planning to hold a premiere in Vijayawada. A source from the camp revealed "They feel that this would be the apt venue given the flavour of the story and the connection with its roots. However, there is also another side which is stopping them from taking it positively forward."

"They fear that the element of risk is there if by any chance followers of Ranga or Nehru end up fighting inside the theatre itself. Of course, there is no reference about them in the film but due to the perception created, there is a possibility for this too. The decision will be taken in one or two days."

Now the director can't think of any other actress in his films that he is yet again roping in Anushka for his next movie with Rana Daggubati in the lead. We have earlier reported that Krish is making Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum movie with Rana.

Atlast Genelia confirms her marriage with Riteish

Finally, the Bollywood couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia have admitted that they are in a relationship and will the knot in 2012.

"Me and Genelia are getting married next year. I am too much in love with her," said Riteish.

"Thanks so much for ur overwhelming response. It's a exciting new chapter in our lives and all ur wishes and blessings make it even more beautiful and special for Riteish and me," tweeted Genelia.

The duo have been dating each other since their Bollywood debut 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' in 2003.

Riteish's brother Dheeraj will be getting married to producer Vashu Bhagnani's daughter Honey in February 4th. However, Riteish said the wedding date for his marriage with Genelia was not finalised yet, but hinted on getting married early next year.

Incidentally, Riteish and Genelia's second film 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya', where they will be seen together on screen after eight years, will also be releasing early next year.

On explaining the reason behind keeping their love affair under cover all these years, Riteish said they did so to avoid unnecessary limelight to their relationship. The actor also revealed they have the blessing of both their families from the beginning and the parents had given the freedom to decide on when to tie the knot.

On reacting to the query whether Genelia will continue her acting career after marriage or not, Riteish said, "It's completely her choice."

Story:

A delightful epic, the tale begins with the return of Rama (Balakrishna) from his victorious battle in Lanka. He is accompanied by wife Seetha (Nayantara), his brother Lakshmana (Srikanth) and Hanuman (Vindoo Dara Singh). Rama is re-crowned as king of Ayodhya and amidst that happy time, Seetha becomes pregnant. The tale takes a turn when Rama gets to hear from his spies about how a particular incident involving a washerman Tippaiah (Brahmi) suspecting his wife's fidelity fails to approach the king. His point is, how can Rama accept Seetha after she stayed at Ravana's place for such a long time. With the duty of a king, Rama sends the pregnant Seetha to the forest. She is taken into shelter by Sage Valmiki (Akkineni Nageswara Rao). Seetha delivers twins Lava-Kusa (master Gaurav, master Dhanush) and they are taught about King Rama's story by Valmiki and other skills. They come to Ayodhya and with their singing of Rama's tales, they catch the attention of the king. However, they are disappointed to know that Rama had abandoned Seetha due to the talk among public. What they don't know is they are the sons of Rama. How all that is revealed forms the rest of the story.

Artist Performances:

Balakrishna walks away with a lot of brownie points for his portrayal as Lord Rama. His love for devotional films can be seen with the dedication and hard work he has put in every frame. Who ever can do justice to the roles portrayed by NTR other than Balayya? Is there anyone who will differ with this statement? Hope not so!!!

Nayantara is a revelation in this film. You just can't imagine an actress other than her, to reprise the role of Sita after watching 'Sri Rama Rajyam'.

ANR's performance as Valmiki Maharshi is priceless. Don't expect him to go wrong with anything he does, as it never happens. He's surely one of the greatest actors India has ever produced.

The child artistes Gaurav and Dhanush put sincere efforts in their role. The rest of the cast such as Srikanth, Murali Mohan, Brahmi, Balayya, KR Vijaya etc rendered their support and added value to the film.

Everyone who worked for this film has put in their heart and soul to make it a memorable experience for the film lovers.

Analysis:

The very essence of a mythological film brings in a different feeling to Telugu audience who have always got a special place for this genre. And if someone like Nandamuri Balakrishna is in the lead then the impact is high. True to the hype, the film is high in grandeur, visual appeal and the presentation. It has redefined the set of technical standards followed in Tollywood.

As far as execution goes, director Bapu didn't drift from his style of narration and tried to include as much as he can within the time frame. Has anyone ever thought of someone other than Balakrishna to continue the legacy of Legend NTR? Hope, not even in your wildest dreams! Balayya - Born To Be Legend!!!

Great films can be made only when great people come under one roof. Hats off to Balakrishna and Sri Rama Rajyam team for choosing a script sans commercial elements and still be a winner.
