Dammu's TT, the main culprit for mixed talk

The much-awaited film of the year, Dammu, opened to mixed reactions on first day. Everyone anticipated a Blockbuster from NTR this time, but the outcome failed to match the hype. Who should be blamed for this? and What went wrong? All the fingers were pointing towards only one thing - It's the power-packed theatrical trailer of the film!

Dammu's trailer which was released at the glittering audio launch event set the standards high for mass entertainers. It promised an high-voltage action entertainer with a breath-neck pace. The expectations touched peaks and it has reached a stage that only a Blockbuster can fulfill the thirst of movie lovers. Although the film has some powerful dialogues and enough scenes to elevate heroism, overall it failed to satisfy the fans and common audience to the fullest. Dammu lacked some truly hair-raising sequences to make the masses go crazy.

It's an undeniable fact that whoever thronged into theaters after watching the theatrical trailer, will come out disappointed. Sometimes, a super positive pre-release buzz can become a curse for the film. It's once again proven with Dammu!
