For your information, there is an association for the direction department of Telugu industry called TFDA. More than solving the actual problems of filmmakers, this association is miffed with politics as 'elections' have approached.
More than happening directors and talented people, the association is most of the times headed by unknown people. Except the individual designation holders, the Executive Council member always looks like a joke. Even this time, few people contesting for the elections are not at all 'directors' and has never got hold of 'mega phone' in their life.
Generally, once expects 'directors' to rule the body of Directors Association but not jobless people whose only goal is to eat the 'money' in the treasury of this group. Another important aspect of this association is groupism and casteism, right from elections to elected candidates and helping to problem solving. Only one section receives a major co-operation from them and rest has to count stars before the association responds on their queries. People say, when star-directors take this body seriously, then everything will set right.
