Young Tiger's 'Baadshah' to begin!!

Young tiger Junior NTR has not been taking a break and is working nonstop. While he has reached the final stages of his new movie 'Dammu' here is another update. It is heard that Junior's next project 'Baadshah' would be launched by March 18th. This would be directed by the jackpot hit director Srinu Vaitla.

The producer for this is Ganesh Babu and buzz is that the saucy seductress Kajal Agarwal is the leading lady. It is heard that only VVIPs have been invited for the grand launch and mostly Nandamuri Balakrishna would be the chief guest. This is slated to be a high voltage action entertainer.

The trio of Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan and S S Thaman of 'Dookudu' fame would be teaming up once again for this project. The regular shooting will commence from April and it is heard that one schedule has been planned in Seoul, South Korea. This should be an interesting treat folks!!

Pawan Kalyan to expose the dark secrets

If Power Star fans are expecting a commercial entertainer out of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, then get ready to be surprised with the film. Why because the buzz from film nagar says that CGR is a controversial film laced with Puri's trademark entertainment. This film is going to expose the dark truths behind news media.

Puri Jagan has been toying with the idea of making a film which focuses on the inside scoop of news media. He narrated the idea to many heroes but none have really dared to be a part of it. Prabhas is one among those heroes who backed out of this film fearing the controversies. Prabhas chose to do Ek Niranjan over this script. Even Pawan Kalyan heard this script long back, but didn't respond positively as he had few questions over the concept.

Puri worked on those and rewritten the script and this time Power star didn't find any reason to reject it. However, the buzz says that the controversial aspect is still intact and once CGR hits the marquee we could expect a major controversy to hit the headlines. If this buzz has to be believed the sensation it could create with the name Pawan Kalyan attached to it will be unimaginable, isn't it? 

Jr.NTR-Charan Redefines Star-Friendship

Clashes are the only thing heard between the fans of these star heroes and even the actors are taking a dig at each other whenever they get chance. But, Young Tiger NTR and Megapowerstar Ramcharan are redefining the meaning of a 'star' and 'star-friendship'.

Big stars generally feel like not attending the functions or events of their counterparts. This is what we call 'attitude'. They generally move friendly with another actor who is less of his stardom, but not with an equivalent. But, Junior shocked everyone by gracing the engagement function of Charan. More than his attendance, his close moving with Powerstar opened the eyes of many cynics who never want these two big scions (the Mega and the Nandamuri) to meet.

Today, Charan took his chance to show the value he gives for friendship. Junior's prestigious movie 'Baadshah' under the direction of Sreenu Vytla is launched today and none other than Ramcharan clapped the muhurat shot. More than this, after the event got over, NTR has left the venue in Ramcharan's car and the two alone. While the 'engagement' thing is a private party, this is a very public function where these two crowned heroes have defined that good stars can be good friends two. A good sign for Telugu industry folks! What do you say?

Rana settles with an aunty!

Daggubati Rana has been in search of finding a proper Jodi for his film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum that is being directed by Krish. Rana has been saying that Krish is in search of a tall heroine and he is finding it tough to find one that perfectly matches him. Interestingly, Krish has signed up Nayanthara for this role, says the buzz.

Nayanthara opposite Rana doesn't sound right because the actress is mostly cast opposite senior actors. Although Nayan paired up with actors like Jr. NTR, she is mostly preferred by the age bar heroes. Of late she has been doing films with fifty plus heroes like Balakrishna and Nagarjuna. So pairing up with twenty five year old Rana will look as well as sound odd.

Krish tried his best to rope in his 'Saroja' Anushka for this role, but she has been extremely busy in Tamil to consider his request. So the director has reportedly settled for Nayanthara, who is not at all a 'tall heroine'. Agree Rana?

Young hero crying on Nitin's success

Nitin back on track means a lot of equations will be changed among the young heroes slot. Nitin's failures along with the downfall of heroes like Tarun and Uday Kiran opened gates to others like Siddharth and Varun Sandesh. These are the heroes who were benefitted with the flop streak of Nitin and co.

But now Nitin has registered a decent hit with Ishq and also have realized where his strength lies. Nitin tried to fit in to the shoes of an action hero and has bought flops in that process. Finally his eyes were opened with Ishq's success and he is staying grounded. Nitin is now ready to do soft romantic entertainers.

Nitin's success and the change of his game plan are sending shock waves to Varun Sandesh, who has been out of form for a while. Nitin is a better hero than Varun on any day. Nitin attracts family audiences as well as young audiences better than Varun and also has a slight following among the masses. So the producers obvious choice in his league would be Nitin now and that means Varun has serious problems to counter with.

Senior actor shocks youngsters @ pub!!

The pubbing culture is quite common in the city of Hyderabad and usually it is also the hub for many film personalities to hang out. Well, this is one place where many unwind and loosen up and feel free. However, there are times when a few tend to be quite noisy. An interesting incident happened recently.

It is heard that in one of the posh pubs at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, a group of youngsters were having a good time and one lad among them was laughing loudly. The music was yet to take off in full dose and all could hear that one boy laughing seriously and talking without control.

All this was watched by senior actor Prithvi. He suddenly went near that boy and stood next to him. Looking at Prithvi's rugged personality the boy didn't understand what will happen and sensed that he is about to get into some brawl. Prithvi said "You are laughing very wholeheartedly. I like you" he shook hand with the boy and left. All the boy's friends were staring at all this with their mouth wide open.

Two Crores for 'Rebel' Flashback Episode

Here's what the Producers J.Bhagwan and J.Pulla Rao told about the movie 'Rebel'.

The flashback episode of Rebel was shot for 15 days at Shamshadbagh at a cost of two crores. A 20 ft tall statue of Goddess Kali was installed at a cost of 25 lakhs. Alongwith Prabhas, Krishnam Raju, Deeksha Seth, Prabha, Mukesh Rishi and Supreet 100 fighters, 1000 junior artists were used for the filming the flashback episode. Shot with high technical standards, this episode will be a highlight of the film. From 16th of this month the next schedule begins at Ramoji Film City.

We have planned to shoot the climax scenes in 15 days from March 29th in a big way. After this two songs will be shot in foreign locales and another song in a grand set. With this the movie shooting will be completed in the month of April. At 40 crores this is the highest budget film in Prabhas's career. We have planned to released the film in the second week of June.

'Dammu's shocking second half revealed!!

Young tiger Junior NTR who has been unable to deliver a hit of his caliber over the past few movies is now gearing up to arrive with his new movie 'Dammu'. This is directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Alexander Vallabha. The title suggests that this is going to be a high voltage action entertainer.

Now, inside sources reveal something interesting. Usually, it is the second half of any film that gets serious but that is not the case with 'Dammu'. Buzz is that the entire second half will be a laugh riot and it will have the likes of NTR with the second female lead Karthika and Ali delivering the comedy.

The audio release of the film is scheduled for March 23rd while the film's release will happen on April 19th. The other point is that NTR has a dual role in the film and one role will drive the masses crazy. Many are now expressing a surprise after hearing the second half. Let us see how this works.

Top league technician for Mahesh Babu

Anything that has to do with prince Mahesh Babu and his films requires a certain standard and quality. Apparently, some of the best names in the business are usually preferred for his movies. Now, it is heard that one specialist has been roped in for new project of Mahesh.

This is being directed by the psychological director Sukumar. Buzz is that Sukumar has roped in his good friend, the ace cinematographer Ratnavelu from Chennai to be part of this shooting. Ratnavelu is the top league cinematographer who has worked with films like 'Robot' and our very own 'Arya'.

The friendship between Sukumar and Ratnavelu goes long way back and despite his high remuneration it is heard that Sukumar insisted he wants only Ratnavelu. Now, the duo has reportedly gone to Bangkok for the scouting of locations. Let us hope Ratnavelu makes up for all the hype generated.

With Ramcharan's 'Orange' becoming a mega-movie among Tollywood's flopbusters, this director is no more addressed with Bommarillu tag. Here goes an interesting talk about Bhaskar's Aunty-Dreams.

According to reports, Bhaskar always considers hot aunty Genelia as heroine for his movies while writing the script itself. Though he scored hit with his debut flick 'Bommarillu' with this bubbly girl, he failed to rope her in for this second movie with 'Parugu'. The director got his dream true again with 'Orange' by casting the over-acting actress as a lead. But the 'lucky-mascot' has give a sour punch to the whole team with her remuneration shock and the film too flopped miserably.

If sources are to be believed, even for his latest project with young hero Ram, Genelia is the first considered option. Ram also scored a hit with this soft thigh beauty through Sreenu Vytla's 'Ready'. Now that she got married and is not ready to do some hot commercial songs, Bhaskar had backed out the idea. 'Madness' is undefined, especially in Film Industry!

'One Rupee' rivalry among big heroes

Rivalries among top league heroes are quite a common thing. However, not many speak about it in the open and they have their own ways to prove a point that they are better than the others. However, it is heard that there is a particular strategy adopted by these stars to show their upmanship.

Buzz is that they follow a 'one rupee' strategy. For instance, two heroes are at loggerheads then one of them makes sure that he takes a remuneration which is one rupee higher than the opposite person. It is heard that this culture is very high in Bollywood from the times of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna etc.

'Directors Association' Became A Joke

For your information, there is an association for the direction department of Telugu industry called TFDA. More than solving the actual problems of filmmakers, this association is miffed with politics as 'elections' have approached.

More than happening directors and talented people, the association is most of the times headed by unknown people. Except the individual designation holders, the Executive Council member always looks like a joke. Even this time, few people contesting for the elections are not at all 'directors' and has never got hold of 'mega phone' in their life.

Generally, once expects 'directors' to rule the body of Directors Association but not jobless people whose only goal is to eat the 'money' in the treasury of this group. Another important aspect of this association is groupism and casteism, right from elections to elected candidates and helping to problem solving. Only one section receives a major co-operation from them and rest has to count stars before the association responds on their queries. People say, when star-directors take this body seriously, then everything will set right.

Manchu Manoj Copied Nokia's Caption

The caption of popular mobile brand Nokia is none other than 'Connecting People'. While this latest movie of Manoj has a caption 'No Caption Only Action', the content showed in the film is something different.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Dialogue King Mohanbabu are two different faces of Telugu cinema with different levels of stardom. However, a war-of-words is always in place between these two whenever one of them gets a chance. Manoj has now decided to put full stop to this, by praising both of them equally in a song of his latest release 'Mr.Nookayya'. Though he changed the title of film from 'Nokia' to 'Nookayya', he used the caption of that brand in a right way, say critics.

The song also showcases the posters of both Chiru and Mohan Babu to the sides of Manoj, showcasing his love for both these stars. From his side, Manoj is a good friend of Charan and Bunny and that is the reason for him to co-star in critically acclaimed 'Vedam' earlier. Let us see how the Mega-Manchu drama shapes up in the future!

Rajamouli postpones 'Eega' audio launch!!

To all those who were eagerly waiting to see the first glimpse of the much talked about movie 'Eega' they have to wait a little longer. It is heard that the audio release of the film which was scheduled to take place on March 22nd has now been postponed by a week to March 30th.

The man behind this is the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli and it is heard that the film is left with the completion of few CG shots meant for the trailer hence this decision. As a result, the chances are that the film which was due for release on April 5th is likely to be postponed to April 12th, as per sources.

The music is by M M Keeravani while Senthil Kumaran is the cinematographer. Though there are few cine folks who are skeptical about the business viability of the project, the 'Eega' team looks very confident. There is also a talk that few juicy offers are already on hand for Rajamouli to sell the distribution rights.

V V Vinayak's Love For His Community

Film Industry is always a game of castes and communities, where the ones with higher support scale to heights easily. In a bid to let his 'vargam' grow, director V V Vinayak is now moving pawns fast.

Apparently, the film industry is shared between these two upper castes and their fights are quite common. V V Vinayak, hailing from one of those upper castes, is pulling his people to the top with his financial support. A noted film journalist who dubs Tamil flicks regularly is heard banking on this director for funds. More than this, when any get-togethers occurs in Film Industry, this particular community people wind around Vinayak to show their oneness.

Also, he resolves any rifts between them like a 'pedarayudu', says a source. He is also heard giving reference to actors of his caste by recommending them to other directors for chances. Looks like Vinayak is forming a new-front to lead this community members after a star hero has taken exit.

Famous comedian met with serious accident!!

He is a veteran of 1000 plus films and eight out of ten movies that arrive tend to have him in one role or the other. Primarily he has made his mark as a comedian and right now he is battling life and death at a private hospital near Kozhikode in Kerala. We are talking about the famous Malayalam comedian Jagathy Sreekumar.

Reports say that Jagathy was on his way from Coorg to Thrissur to be part of a film shoot when his Innova car hit the divider. This happened at 4.30 am and it is heard that he has suffered severe multiple injuries on neck, chest, abdomen. If need be, a surgery may also take place.

Sources say a panel of ten doctors is working on Jagathy and it is heard that the driver escaped with minor injuries. As a result of this accident and the imminent rest of few months, it is heard that nearly ten movies have landed in soup because they are at various stages of production with Jagathy doing a key role in them. 'Hardcore' Directors Vs 'Software' Directors

An interesting discussion is going on in Film Nagar circuits about the 'hardcore' and 'software' directors of Telugu Industry. Here it is.

General assumption is that study of management enables one to do things on time and to do with much more clarity. Contradictory to this, guys who have studied their Masters in foreign universities waste lots of time than our 10th-class batch. For example, Puri Jagan completes a movie in four months with much quality and clarity. Same is the case with another star-filmmaker Sreenu Vytla.

People are saying that young director Veerabhadram (Poola Rangadu, Aha Na Pellanta) will also fall under this category. Surprisingly, our 'software' directors are taking years of time to deliver one commercial entertainer which is slightly falling short of expectations. First comes Sekhar Kammula who is in his consecutive third year without any release so far. Other software sensations like Deva Katta (Prasthanam) and Krish (Vedam) are also taking years to make a movie. Say it their eye for perfection in the name of quality, these directors are unable to finish their flicks within stipulated time frame. Another entry to this cadre is Srikanth Addala (an IIT dropout) who is still struggling to wrap up his second movie, Seethamma...Chettu, after five years haul.

After moving her sexy body out of Tollywood, curvaceous Arabian horse Anushka is concentrating a lot on the Tamil circuit. Now, she has become a main competitor for petite beauty Trisha in all sorts.
