Rajamouli Eega completes talkie part

The highly anticipated sci-fi movie of star director SS Rajamouli Eega has completed its shooting formalities. The post-production works of the film are in progress at brisk pace. The movie is being dubbed in Tamil as Naan Ee and will have a simultaneous release with Telugu version.
Nani and Samantha are playing female lead. Kannada super star Sudeep is playing the antagonist of the film. The story of the film revolves around a house-fly (Eega).The protagonist of the film dies in the hands of villain and will be reborn as Eega. How he takes revenge on the antagonist is the rest of the story.
Rajamouli is taking utmost care on the special effects part and reportedly spending Rs 5 crore for it. He is roping in Hollywood technicians for this film. The trailer of the movie will be out in anytime from now. Keeravani is scoring wonderful tunes for this film, adds our source.

Pawan's film to put him in the big league

Director Harish Shankar has tasted a flop and a hit until now. Gabbar Singh is his third film as a director. Although Mirapakay was a good hit, it didn't make Harish Shankar the hot property in Tollywood. He is yet to deliver a blockbuster that make the heads turn.

If the buzz is to be believed, Gabbar Singh is one such film for Harish Shankar. He is aware of the fact that Dabangg was a routine mass masala fare that worked in Bollywood solely on Salman's star power. Even Pawan Kalyan can pull off such blockbuster on his own. So Harish Shankar is doing his best to make the routine story look extraordinary by adding his touch to Dabangg.

Harish's forte is dialogue and he is putting more than hundred percent efforts to make every line uttered by Pawan to count. Industry buzz say that Gabbar Singh has one of the finest dialogues in the history of Telugu cinema. Balakrishna's Adhinayakudu in trouble

Balakrishna's Adhinayakudu movie was launched long back. It ran into trouble during the production stage and Balakrishna moved on to do Sri Rama Rajyam movie. By then this film's shoot was almost complete.

The producer had to wait until Balakrishna is done with Sri Rama Rajyam. As there is no business craze for this movie, he is happy to come after Sri Rama Rajyam rather releasing it after Parama Veera Chakra. Sadly, Sri Rama Rajyam didn't fare well at the box office and therefore there are no takers for Adhinayakudu.

That is the reason for delaying this movie for so long. Even now the release date is yet to be confirmed. Allu Aravind Took Mahesh's Joke Seriously

Off late, Mahesh Babu is seen cracking jokes and high-voltage satires on small screen. With BUSINESSMAN turning an unusual hit, Superstar is spending a lavish time on TV.

In one of the interviews, Mahesh joked that the reason behind the success of DOOKUDU and BUSINESSMAN is the 'Vaastu' of his newly constructed house. While his fans blasted a few laughs on the anchor for the satire of their star, some took it very seriously. One among them is ace producer Allu Aravind. The mega-filmmaker is said to be changing the position of some doors and windows of his house in Jubilee Hills.

Mahesh Babu backs Twitter's latest move

Superstar Mahesh Babu has welcomed the social networking site Twitter's new censorship policies, which will put an end to the offensive tweets on the public forum.

"It's an excellent move if they implement this. In my opinion, Personal issues shouldn't be discussed on public forums. We come across offensive words and other abuses in the comments, so it will be good if they are filtered," opined Mahesh Babu.

However, Twitter's new censorship policies has drawn international outrage as it would restrict the fundamental rights and freedoms of the citizens.

As per the new guidelines, Twitter would selectively censor tweets based on the country from which the service is being accessed. A tweet that is offensive to one country will only be censored in that particular Nation only, but it will still be available to see in other countries of the world.

Bellamkonda's Like For Second-Fiddles

Without paying huge remunerations, no big-combination can be set and a film cannot generate hype, is the mantra of our big-fat-belly. Bellamkonda Suresh, the golden producer of the tinsel town always had a penchant for second-fiddles.

Puri-Ravi Teja drop 'Idiot 2' and take DCM

Till sometime back there was a strong buzz about crazy director Puri Jagannadh teaming up with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and planning for the sequel to their super hit movie 'Idiot'. However, the latest update is that the film has been dropped. But before fans are disappointed, here is another twist.

It is heard that Puri has written another script for Ravi Teja and the film is being titled as 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu'. If one can recall, a film with the same title came in the year 1973 and it had the legendary NT Rama Rao in the lead while superstar Krishna was taking his baby steps as a hero.

While it is not sure if the new movie has anything to do with the original, many are appealed by this conventional title. But given Puri's mindset and thinking, many are saying this would be a satire or an anti-philosophy that Puri usually likes spreading. Further details about the project would be revealed soon.

Beating Mahesh won't be easy for NTR!

Jr. NTR has a very big challenge to face now. NTR openly said that his aim is to become the number one hero of Tollywood. But at this point Mahesh Babu is way ahead of him in reaching that goal, if he hasn't reached it yet! Dookudu proved that Mahesh Babu's Pokiri isn't a fluke hit.

Now Businessman's opening records supports the statement that Mahesh is a super power at the box office. NTR should show his star power as early as possible, because people already believe that now the race is on for number 2 spot. They firmly believe that Mahesh can't be moved from his place in the near future.

If NTR has to put their belief in doubt, then he will have to deliver a 40 crore hit if not a 50 crore hit. But that is not going to be easy for him as NTR lags behind Mahesh in Nizam and overseas region. Mahesh films collect more than 10 crore rupees in these regions compared to NTR movies. NTR has lead over Mahesh in Ceded and to some extent in Andhra region. Covering up that 10 crore margin from these areas isn't possible. NTR should impress Nizam and overseas audience to consistently deliver big hits. He needs a film like Dookudu to do so. Maybe Srinu Vytla's film should help him a bit.

Released in the Pongal season, BODYGUARD is not running as expected as per the trade reports. With BUSINESSMAN occupying most of the best theatres across AP, BODYGUARD managed to get only few better ones. This is said to be affecting the collections of the movie a lot. On the other hand, sentiment in the film is not gelling too well with the audiences and they prefer an 'abusive' Mahesh rather than a soft 'Venky'.

If reports are to be believed, BODYGUARD is going to incur a loss of coupe of crores, though it manages to run for a few more weeks. To help the producer recover the loss, Venky is said to be body-guarding him by giving his dates again. Bellamkonda will makes this time sure that he is not going against any businessman to save his own business.

Pawan-Venky: All is not well!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Victory Venkatesh who once claimed to best buddies are not on good terms with each other for sometime now. Differences propped up between the two stars and there were some concrete evidence to prove it.

During the engagement ceremony of Ram Charan, Venkatesh came to wish Jr NTR who was then having a chat with Pawan Kalyan. Both Venky and Pawan avoided eye contact with eachother and even didn't try to exchange pleasantries, giving indications that all is not well between them.

According to the sources, the multi-starrer film 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', which was planned keeping Pawan and Venky in mind has resulted in creating the rift between them. "Venkatesh okayed the multi-starrer script narrated by director Srikanth Addala and asked Pawan to take a look at it. But Pawan bluntly rejected the proposal saying he don't want to be part of a family subject. Pawan's decision hasn't gone down well with the Senior Hero. Since then, both the heroes have parted ways," said a source.

This news can cause heartbreak for the fans, who always dreamt of seeing their favourite heroes on the big screen. Hope they will be reunited soon!

Producer & Director Fighting For Powerstar

Some 'investments' are such a way that even in the recession time they will give you huge profits. Perfect example for this is Powerstar Pavan Kalyan.

According to grapevine, an ace producer and a star director are fighting for Pavan Kalyan. The quarrel rose in connection with the producing of his next film after GABBAR SINGH. If sources are to be believed, Pavan gave a serious 'yes' to Puri's movie after this flick. Other than directing, Puri wants to produce the flick on his own banner 'Vaishno Academy'.

However, Allu Arvind is said to be insisting Puri to produce the movie on 'Geetha Arts' banner. Though Pavan gave the consent just few days back, Arvind is waiting from a long time to get Puri direct under his company. Let us see what happens!

Top Heroine's growing fondness for Allu Arjun

Hip beauty Ileana is having a great time shooting for Trivikram's film. And the one who made it a memorable experience for the actress is none other than the stylish star Allu Arjun.

According to the sources, Ileana was nervous on the day when the director planned a few romantic scenes with Allu Arjun. Notably, it is also their first day of shoot together. Noticing Ileana discomfort, the actor had a friendly chat and made her feel extremely comfortable. Ileana was so impressed by his demeanor and jovial nature with all the unit members. And not to forget her showering praises on Bunny's dancing abilities, dedication and passion for films.

Apparently, there were times when Allu Arjun got miffed with the attitude of Ileana. When Trivikram approached Ileana to rope her for the film, she demanded hefty pay cheque (Rs 1.25 crores), a BMW to travel and additional expenses of 25-30 lakhs. Knowing this, Allu Arjun insisted Trivikram to drop Ileana and asked him to consider Samantha for the project. These developments has forced Ileana to slash her remuneration to bag the project.

Mahesh's power punch on Censor Board

The success meet of Superstar Mahesh Babu has planted a doubt in the minds of film lovers over the transparency in regards to censorship issues. In the past, there were reports about the double standards of Censor Board members. And Mahesh's recent outburst has made it public.

When media quizzed him about the excessive beeps in the film, Mahesh replied,"We too felt that some of the beeps were unnecessary. The Censor Board allowed such kind of words in some of the films. I don't know, why they raised objection to our film. That's why, the number of beeps have increased".

How can the Censor Board members justify blurring the legs of the Item Girl in Businessman, when they permitted the deep cleavage shows in some films? Despite having Adult content, few films get away easily with little cuts, less/no beeps and an 'A' or 'U/A' certificate. While others get punished by coming under the scissors of Censor.

When a person like Mahesh speaks something, you can't rule out the issue easily. There seems to be something wrong going around. After all, Superstar is not a media maniac!

Prabhas’s Vaaradhi In Climax Schedule

Prabhas, Richa starrer Vaaradhi currently shooting in Maryada Ramnna House at Kokapet. climax shooting started today and the unit canned climax scenes on Prabhas, Richa at Kokapet under the fight choreography of Fight Master’s Ram-Laxman. Special Cranes are used for the climax fight purpose. Vaaradhi unit will be leaving Bangkok for song shoot in March and return in the by end of March .
